How do I set up a piece to practise?
In Library, choose Add deck on a piece and pick how you want to practise. Your practice then appears on Home.
Find the piece in Library
Open Library. To practise a score file you already have, bring it in with Import score first.
Choose Add deck
It’s under the deck icon on the piece’s row, or in its “…” menu. For a piece with several parts, you first choose the part to practise.
Pick a way to practise and choose Set up practice
Your practice for the piece is then waiting on Home.
Ways to practise
- Sight reading: start with a full-score sight-reading pass, then continue with each hand and both hands.
- Each hand: practise the left and right hands separately, then bring them together.
- Both hands: begin with both hands together.
- Refining technique: for a piece you already know, start by polishing details and move on to memorising.
