I hear every note twice
With MIDI playthrough on, your piano’s speakers and Virtu both play your notes. Turn one of them down.
Pick one
- To hear only Virtu, turn the piano’s volume all the way down, or switch off Local Control if your piano has it.
- To hear only the piano, turn off Preferences › Input › MIDI playthrough.
- If Output device is MIDI and MIDI output is the same piano, playthrough sends each note back to it. Choose another MIDI output or turn playthrough off.
