Hear your playing through Virtu’s sound
Turn on MIDI playthrough and what you play sounds through the output you chose. If that output is MIDI, your notes go to the selected MIDI device.
Turn on Preferences › Input › MIDI playthrough
From then on, the keys and pedal you play go straight to the output.
Choose the sound in Output
With Virtu Audio or Virtu HQ, you hear the piano chosen in Sound variant. With MIDI, your notes go to the device chosen in MIDI output.
If the sounds overlap
- If you also hear the piano’s own speakers, turn the piano’s volume down.
