The first of Debussy's two Arabesques, L. 66, an early piano piece in E major written around 1890. In common time, flowing triplets in one hand often move against even eighths in the other, and the middle section in A major turns to Tempo rubato and a firmer Risoluto. This edition follows Durand's print from the plates of 1904.
