A minuet in A minor by Johann Krieger, organist in Zittau, one of the dances added at the end of his Sechs Musicalische Partien, printed in Nuremberg in 1697. An eight-bar first strain and a sixteen-bar second strain, each repeated, set a graceful melody over a bass moving in quarter notes, in two clear parts; it is widely played by young pianists. This edition follows the 1697 first print.
