Étude in C-sharp minorOp. 2 No. 1

Scriabin's Étude in C-sharp minor, Op. 2 No. 1. In an Andante in 3/4, the right hand carries the melody in its upper fingers above its own repeated chords, over a left-hand bass line; a middle section moves through flat keys before the opening returns. This edition follows P. Jurgenson's Moscow print of the Trois Morceaux, Op. 2.
