Control practice from your keyboard
With Play shortcuts, you can retry a passage or move on without taking your hands off the keys.
Default keys
- C4 (middle C): Retry passage
- C5: Next passage
- C6: Demonstration play/pause
A shortcut works only while its button is on screen, and the button shows its key, like “♪ C4”. While you are playing a take, every key counts as playing.
Turn them off or choose Edit bindings in Preferences › Input › Play shortcuts to use other keys, up to four notes each.
