The second of Brahms's Six Piano Pieces, Op. 118, published by Simrock in 1893. Marked Andante teneramente, this Intermezzo in A major in 3/4 sets a tender melody over flowing left-hand eighths; a Più lento middle section moves to F-sharp minor and major before the opening returns. This edition follows the 1893 Simrock first edition.
