  • 96 measures

The fifteenth of Friedrich Burgmüller's 25 Études faciles et progressives, Op. 100, an Allegro con brio in C minor in 3/8. Staccato chords in the right hand, marked p misterioso, sit over a left-hand figure in sixteenths; a dolce middle section in C major is repeated before the opening returns. The study ends with the sixteenth figure in both hands, f, and quiet chords rising to a held final chord. This edition follows Louis Oesterle's Schirmer edition, New York, 1903, with his fingering.
