Beethoven's Piano Sonata in F minor, Op. 57, published in Vienna in 1807 and dedicated to Count Franz von Brunsvik: the Allegro assai, and the Andante con moto with its variations joined without a break to the Allegro ma non troppo and its Presto coda. The first movement follows Paul Dukas's Durand edition of 1915; the second and third follow the Vienna first edition.
