Grieg's Notturno, Op. 54 No. 4, from his Lyric Pieces. An Andante in C major in 9/8: a right-hand melody sings over repeated left-hand chords, a Più mosso middle section builds to fortissimo, and the piece closes Adagio with a grace-note arpeggio into its final chord. This edition follows C. F. Peters' Leipzig edition of about 1891.
