Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances, Sz. 56, six short piano dances he arranged in 1915 from Romanian tunes collected in the villages of Hungary: the Stick Dance, the Sash Dance, In One Spot, the Dance from Bucsum, the Romanian Polka and the Fast Dance. The dances here follow Universal-Edition's first print of 1918.
