In One Spot (Pe loc), third of Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances, Sz. 56. An Andante in 2/4: after three bars of left hand alone, the right hand enters high in the treble with a short ornamented tune over a steady left-hand accompaniment, and the dance fades to ppp. This edition follows Universal-Edition's first print of 1918, with its fingering and pedal marks.
