Brâul, the Sash Dance, second of Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances, Sz. 56. A short Allegro in 2/4: a tune mostly in staccato eighths runs over a left hand that plays a low bass note and then a chord in most bars, and the whole dance is played twice. This edition follows Universal-Edition's first print of 1918, with its fingering and pedal marks.
