The finale of Mozart's Piano Sonata in A major, K. 331, published by Artaria in Vienna in 1784. Marked Alla Turca, it imitates the sound of an Ottoman military band, with ringing grace notes and drum-like rolled chords in the left hand, and ends with a brilliant coda in A major. Edited from the Breitkopf & Härtel complete edition and compared with Artaria's first edition, with some readings from Mozart's surviving autograph leaf.
