  • 38 measures

The minuets of Mozart's Sonata in C major, K. 6, published in Paris in 1764 in his first printed work, when he was eight. The first minuet, in C major, sings in slurred pairs over a light bass; the second, in F major, answers with off-beat chords, repeated high notes and running sixteenths, and an early version of it in his sister Nannerl's music book is dated 16 July 1762. The first minuet is then played again. This edition follows the Paris first edition of 1764.
