The second of Debussy's two Arabesques, L. 66, an early piano piece in G major written around 1890 and marked Allegretto scherzando. In common time, quick triplet turns, each ending on a light staccato note, open over held chords in the left hand, and near the end a Meno mosso, armonioso, slows the music before a Tempo. This edition follows Durand's print from the plates of 1904.
