How do I connect my digital piano?

All you need is a USB cable. Virtu finds the connected piano by itself, so there is nothing to select.

Virtu doesn’t respond when I play

Check the MIDI status at the top of the practice screen first. No MIDI device means the piano isn’t connected yet; MIDI disconnected means the connection dropped.

I played in time, but Virtu says I was late

Every speaker and pair of headphones adds its own delay before you hear the click. Measure it once with Latency calibration and timing judgments allow for it.

Can I practise with my own score files?

Yes. Bring in a MusicXML file (.xml, .musicxml or .mxl) with Import score in Library.

Plus isn’t showing on my new device

Sign in to the App Store or Google Play account you bought Plus with, then choose Restore purchases on the Plus screen.

Does my practice carry over to another device?

With Plus, turn on Cloud continuity and your scores, practice history and recordings carry over. Turn it on once on each device.

Virtu runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS 15 or later) and on Android phones and tablets (Android 10 or later).

How do I cancel Plus?

Cancel in your App Store or Google Play account before the next renewal date. You keep Plus until the end of the current billing period.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Preferences › Account › Delete Virtu account. If a subscription renews automatically, cancel it in the store first.
