ArabesqueOp. 100 No. 2
Friedrich Burgmüller
Score
The fifth of Friedrich Burgmüller's 25 Études faciles et progressives, Op. 100, a Moderato in F major in 3/4, marked p grazioso. Falling sixteenth figures in the right hand sit over left-hand chords, and the first half is repeated with two endings. The second half, p leggiero, sets a lighter right-hand figure over left-hand eighths, repeats it an octave higher with a crescendo to f, and is also repeated. This edition follows Louis Oesterle's Schirmer edition, New York, 1903, with his fingering.
