The Gigue that closes Bach's French Suite No. 5 in G major, BWV 816. In 12/16, a running sixteenth-note theme starts alone in the right hand and the other parts enter after it one by one; the second half opens with the left hand alone. Both halves are repeated. This edition follows Ernst Naumann's revised Bach-Gesellschaft edition of 1895.
