Minuet I, the fifth movement of the Suite in G minor, BWV 822, which survives in a single manuscript copy in Leipzig. A sixteen-bar minuet in 3/4 whose first strain repeats, and which closes by returning to the opening (Da Capo). This edition follows that manuscript, Peters Ms. 8 in the Bach-Archiv Leipzig.
