No. 3 of the first volume of Bartók's For Children (Gyermekeknek), Sz. 42, pieces built on Hungarian folk tunes. A short Andante in 2/4, marked p dolce, whose right-hand melody sings over a left hand written in the treble clef, and which fades out pp, smorzando. This edition follows the Budapest print by Rozsnyai, catalogued as 1909, in Bartók's original version.
