Dance from Bucsum (Bucsumi tánc, Buciumeana), fourth of Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances, Sz. 56, on a tune from Bisztra in Torda-Aranyos. A Molto moderato in 3/4: a slow, ornamented melody marked molto espressivo over a quiet left hand, heard again più espressivo and closing pianissimo on a fermata. This edition follows Universal-Edition's first print of 1918, with its fingering and pedal marks.
