The fourth and last movement of Beethoven's Piano Sonata in A-flat major, Op. 26, published in Vienna in 1802: an Allegro rondo in 2/4. Running sixteenth notes pass from hand to hand almost without a break, through quieter returns of the opening theme and louder episodes with sforzandos, until the music fades away at the end. This edition follows Heinrich Schenker's Universal Edition.
