The third of the thirteen pieces in Schumann's Kinderszenen, Op. 15, composed in 1838 and published in 1839. A breathless chase in B minor: staccato sixteenths dart down through both hands and up again in the right hand, with sfp and sf accents, and the second half is repeated with two endings. This edition follows the Breitkopf & Härtel first edition.
