No. 7 of Schumann’s Kreisleriana, Op. 16, marked Sehr rasch, in C minor: fast sixteenth-note runs, an imitative passage and a faster stretch, Noch schneller, that gives way to a slow chordal ending in E-flat major, Etwas langsamer. This edition follows Haslinger’s first edition, Vienna 1838.
