From Schumann's Carnaval, Op. 9, 'little scenes on four notes', composed in 1834–35 and published in 1837. A Prestissimo in B-flat major with many sf accents and a passage marked quasi Corni, like horns; a D.C. ad libitum may return to the opening, which ends at Fine. This edition follows the Breitkopf & Härtel first edition.
