From Schumann's Carnaval, Op. 9, 'little scenes on four notes', composed in 1834–35 and published in 1837. A short Vivo, precipitandosi, that recalls a passage of the Preamble and ends con forza and ritenuto before the closing march. This edition follows the Breitkopf & Härtel first edition.
