The B-flat major fugue from Book I of The Well-Tempered Clavier. Three voices take up a lively subject in 3/4, moving in eighth notes and running sixteenths, and the voices often cross between the hands. After 48 bars it ends on a held chord of B-flat and D. This edition follows Bach's own manuscript of 1722.
