Prelude in C-sharp minorOp. 28, No. 10

Frédéric Chopin

  • Difficulty 6
  • C-sharp minor
  • 1 min
  • 19 measures

The tenth of Chopin's 24 Preludes, Op. 28, published in 1839. Marked Allegro molto and leggiero, light runs fall from high in the right hand and are answered each time by short dotted figures in chords, in a mazurka-like rhythm; the alternation returns several times before it closes on C-sharp-minor chords. This edition follows Catelin's Paris first edition of 1839.
