Waltz in A minorB.150

Frédéric Chopin

A short waltz in A minor by Chopin, first printed in Paris around 1860 as the third of four pieces whose title page names the Baroness Nathaniel de Rothschild. A wistful melody over a plain waltz bass gives way to a brighter, livelier passage before returning, written out each time with its own expression. Edited from that Maho print; Chopin's unfinished autograph draft was consulted.
