The Finale of Chopin's Sonata in B-flat minor, Op. 35, written in 1839 and published in 1840. Marked Presto, sotto voce e legato, it follows the funeral march with 77 bars: both hands run mostly an octave apart on a single line of unbroken triplet eighths, without accompaniment, through one crescendo to the closing fortissimo chord that ends the sonata. This edition follows the 1840 first German edition by Breitkopf & Härtel.
