Mazurka in B minorOp. 33 No. 4

The last and longest of Chopin's four Mazurkas, Op. 33, published in 1838. A sad B minor refrain, marked Mesto in the Paris edition, returns around a B-flat major dance that opens f and a long B major middle section; the piece ends sotto voce, fading in a long diminuendo. This edition follows the Breitkopf & Härtel first edition, compared with Schlesinger's Paris issue.
