Mazurka in A minorOp. 59 No. 1

The first of Chopin's three Mazurkas, Op. 59, published in 1845. After a middle section in A major, the opening melody returns a semitone lower, in G-sharp minor, and only then finds its way back to A minor. This edition follows the first French edition, published in Paris by Brandus.
