  • 32 measures

The tenth of Bach's fifteen two-part Inventions, written out fair in 1723. In 9/8, a G major subject leaps through broken chords in eighths, the other hand takes it up a bar later, and later on long tied notes are held in one hand while the other runs on in eighths, before the music comes home to G. Edited from the Bach-Gesellschaft edition of 1853.
